Fall River Fest: A Day of Celebration and Nature

By Savannah Logan

Living River is set to host its much-anticipated Fall River Fest on October 20th from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., offering a full day of free, engaging activities for all ages. This year’s event marks a special milestone, celebrating 10 years of Living River’s programming and the 20th anniversary of the Marvel Slab Dam removal from the Cahaba River, a historic moment that restored the river’s natural flow.

Participants are welcome to stay for the entire event or come and go as they please. Meals will be provided at no cost, ensuring everyone can relax and enjoy the day without worry. Living River invites everyone to share in the festivities and bring friends along to experience the beauty of Alabama’s riverside environment.
