On Friday, September 20th, and Saturday, September 21st, 2024, the Lift Foundation hosted the Dr. Elizabeth Jacobson Memorial PCA Rodeo at Alabama Bombshell Equine in Brierfield, Alabama (646 Burt Spur Road, Brierfield, AL 35035). The foundation, established in 2024, honors the memory of Dr. Elizabeth (Libby) Jacobson, MD, who tragically lost her battle with mental health.
Libby’s Inspiration For Tomorrow (LIFT) was created in her loving memory.
Over 200 of the top cowboys and cowgirls from across the Southeast competed, with approximately $43,930 in prizes awarded throughout the weekend. Congratulations to all the winners, and plans are underway for next year’s event!
