Tigers Fall to Region Opponent Oak Grove

The West Blocton Tigers lost on the road this past Friday night to the Oak Grove Tigers by a score of 33-20. Leading the Tigers’ offense by ground attack was running back Nate Barron who scored three touchdowns. Evan Pearson added to the offense with several big catches.
The Tigers’ defense forced one turnover on the night. Leading the defense was Levi Carey and Evan Pearson with 10 tackles each, and Palmer Milligan added nine tackles. The Tigers (2-3 overall, 1-2 region) have a bye week and will return to action on Oct. 4 as they host cross-county rival Bibb County (4-1 overall, 3-0 in region action).
