The Bibb County Children’s Theatre was established in 2001 to offer children in Bibb County the chance to engage in locally sponsored performing arts. Its mission is to create opportunities for children that might not otherwise be available, while also supporting a charitable cause—the Bibb County Child Caring Foundation. This foundation provides free annual health screenings for Pre-K through 12th-grade students in the county. Donations to the Bibb County Children’s Theatre or the Bibb County Child Caring Foundation are tax-deductible, thanks to the Rural Alabama Health Alliance’s tax-exempt status.

It’s that time again! The Bibb County Children’s Theatre offers kids in Bibb County a chance to experience and participate in the fine arts. Auditions for the 2025 production are scheduled, with performances set for January 2025. This year’s production will be Disney’s Moana, Jr. and 45 to 55 cast members will be selected.
