Join Woodstock in Supporting the 20th Annual SouthernCare New Beacon Food Drive

By Savannah Logan

The Town of Woodstock is excited to announce its participation in SouthernCare New Beacon’s 20th annual food drive in support of Bibb County’s Compassion & Hope Food Basket. This initiative aims to tackle hunger in our community and strengthen our bonds, one meal at a time.

You can contribute to this important cause by making online donations through the Compassion and Hope Food Basket website at https://www.compassionandhopefoodbasket.com/donate.

If you prefer to donate physical items, non-perishable food and paper products are being collected at Woodstock Town Hall until Friday, September 27th. Every contribution, no matter how small, can have a significant impact.

For any questions or to arrange a pickup, please contact Maleia Owen at 205-821-3490. All donations will directly benefit the Compassion and Hope Food Basket Soup Kitchen, which is in need of items such as green beans, corn, Veg-All, baked beans, chili, diced tomatoes, spaghetti sauce, Alfredo sauce, spaghetti noodles, fruit cocktail, and either season field peas or black-eyed peas.

Thank you for your generosity and support in making a difference in the lives of those in need!
