Join The Miracle League of Bibb County: Registration Now Open

The Miracle League of Bibb County is happy to announce that registration for the Fall 2024 season is now open! This program offers a unique opportunity for children of all abilities to experience the joy of playing baseball. With a mission rooted in the belief that every kid deserves to play, the Miracle League ensures a supportive and inclusive environment for all participants.
Parents and guardians should note that the last day to register is August 16th, 2024, and there is a $40 registration fee. For those interested in sponsoring a child, or if your child requires a sponsorship to participate, the league encourages you to contact them directly at miracleleaguebc@gmail.com. Sponsorships help ensure that every child has the chance to play, regardless of financial circumstances.
In addition to player registration, the Miracle League is also seeking individuals to volunteer as buddies for the Fall 2024 season. Each player is paired with a buddy who assists them throughout the game, helping with tasks like running bases, hitting, and fielding the ball. Buddies are expected to provide support and encouragement, all while ensuring the safety of their assigned player. This volunteer role involves attending the team’s games each Saturday for one hour, with buddies asked to arrive 30 minutes before the game begins. It’s a season-long commitment, and volunteers will need to sign the “Buddy Pledge,” committing to their role for the entire season.
Volunteering as a buddy offers a rewarding experience, fostering a special relationship between the volunteer and their player, while also providing the opportunity to earn community service hours. To become a buddy, you must be at least 12 years old. However, volunteers under the age of 12 are welcome to participate, provided they have adult supervision on the field.
