Attention all young adventurers! Bibb County 4-H is thrilled to announce a series of upcoming kayak floats designed specifically for youth ages 9 to 18 in their Riverkids program. This summer, join along on an exciting journey where you’ll learn about nutrition, kayak safety, and the basics of paddlesports. Mark your calendars and don’t miss out on these unforgettable experiences!
The following events will take place on the listed days from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and lunch will be provided. Please do note that transportation is not provided to each float, and each person is responsible for getting to and from each float.
Event Schedule:
- June 7th – Bibb County Lake
- June 14th – Montevallo Lake
- June 21st – Pratts Ferry – Cahaba River
- Note: Participants must attend either the June 7th or June 14th float to join this event.
- June 28th – BeesWax Creek Park – Lay Lake
- Note: Participants must attend either the June 7th or June 14th float to join this event.
